The Gakondo eV Association is committed to support the Banyamulenge community as below:
1. Empower 50 members of the Gakondo Association with essential knowledge and skills for the German labor market which are stable and high paying.
2. Provide orientation on vocational trainings based on their experience, job application techniques, and workplace culture in Germany.
3. Facilitate integration by connecting participants with local employers, job centers, and training institutions.
4. Build partnerships with local Organizations, foundations, and churches for mentorship and support.
5. Promote coexistence through intercultural training and exchange programs
The Gakondo Association is a registered organization composed of Congolese Banyamulenge community this include men, women, and youth living in Germany as Migrants. Fleeing violence and war in the Democratic Republic of Congo, these individuals now reside in Germany, seeking peace, safety, and a chance to rebuild their lives.
Despite the security Germany offers, members of the Banyamulenge community face significant barriers to access the labor market. These include language barriers, lack of knowledge about the German labor system, limited vocational qualifications, and minimal exposure to integration opportunities.
